I'm Sean McAuley. I grew up in a family of artists and painters, so I learned early that the difference between okay and great is in the details: a dead-straight line at the ceiling, a seam nobody will ever find, a stain that soaks in instead of sitting on top.

Prince Albert

I learned to paint from family, on ladders and scaffolding around Prince Albert: scraping old brick, hand-lettering signs and boats, and bringing tired storefronts back to sharp. The standards came with it.
